Precision ALS at TRICALS Masterclass, February 10th & 11th 2026
Stakeholders from academic, clinical, and industry backgrounds within Precision ALS met once again at the Novotel Schiphol Airport, Amsterdam, for a programme-focused session held in parallel with the annual TRICALS Masterclass.
The meeting began with a focused session outlining the technical progress and showcasing of demos related to the platform and TRE, before moving on to machine learning, with plenty of related discussion on both topics.
In the afternoon, attention shifted to a series of updates outlining the current status and recent developments across additional work packages, including the prospective data collection, novel biomarkers and remote monitoring, alongside an exchange of views on forthcoming priorities and directions for the programme.
Workshops were held the following morning on neuropsychology and cognition, digital outcome measures and remote monitoring (alongside MND SWIFTT), and machine learning.
Looking ahead, the next in-person Precision ALS gathering will be held at the IFEMA Palacio Municipal in Madrid on June 23rd, where stakeholders will reconvene to discuss continued progress and future plans for Precision ALS.
