Precision ALS is a research programme involving researchers at the SFI Research Centres, ADAPT and FutureNeuro, along with the TRICALS Consortium. National and International industry partners and charities are also actively participating. Precision ALS will provide an innovative platform for ALS Research across Europe, that will then harness artificial intelligence to analyse large amounts of data.

Researchers avail of the Precision ALS patient data platform to gain key insights and make new discoveries. Precision ALS aims to produce cutting-edge research to advance what is known about neurodegenerative diseases and the factors that contribute to them. Precision ALS research involves a wide range of disciplines including clinical science, data science, and more.

Precision ALS is a collaborative programme which brings together experts from a wide range of disciplines including Clinicians, Data Scientists and more. A research programme of this scale requires the collaboration of several academic and industry partners, each of which will provide their own expertise to the programme. The research will be carried out in nine research centres across Europe.
