Simon Kenny is a Senior Software Architect at Precision ALS, associated with the ADAPT Centre at Trinity College Dublin. His work focuses on research platform software systems and infrastructure, supporting international ALS research initiatives. His expertise spans software architecture, data engineering, AI-assisted systems, mobile and backend development, cloud infrastructure, and research platform design.

He has led the design and delivery of complex technical systems across both research and commercial environments, with particular expertise in software architecture, CI/CD, testing strategy, and the long-term maintainability of large codebases. Prior to joining Precision ALS, Simon worked in commercial industry as a Technical Lead and Lead Software Developer.
